June-26 Update

It's been a little while since my last update so I thought it would be useful to pull together what I'm currently working on and what's coming up.

Hopefully you've already read Burning Both Ends, published earlier this month. I've been delighted by the positive response to it. Continuing Amy, Luisa and Sarah's story was always going to involve treading a delicate path, but I think the outcome is worth it. I will absolutely write a third book in the series, however that may be a while as I want to get the outline of the story absolutely right before I put pen to paper.

In terms of upcoming publications and what I'm working on:

Your Place Or Ours? (available for pre-order now, publishing 8th July)

Not an invite, but the title of a book along the lines of Her Miss Perfect: set in the Coming Into The Light world, it follows married couple Ellie and Becca as a chance realisation leads them to push against the boundaries of their marriage.

You could think of it as the love child of Coming Into The Light and Experimenting, though with a new set of characters, some of whom are mentioned in Burning Both Ends (and who Luisa has some fun with in the free short story for subscribers to my mail list, Cimarron) and will appear in the third book in the Coming Into The Light main trilogy.

But frankly, like with Her Miss Perfect, the characters are great on their own and I think make for a fun read. Pre-order went live today.

Her Miss Perfect 2 (date TBD)

Speaking of Her Miss Perfect, I'm currently working on the first draft of a sequel. Saskia and Laura are one thing, but what about Clem and Bel? Surely they're the not-couple that everyone wants to know more about?

Very much work-in-progress, but my plan is tell the story from Clem's point of view, looking at how her and Bel are with each other. Will they get together in the end? Find out when it gets published, hopefully at some point later this year!

Minha Dona (working title, targeting August)

The follow up to the Beyond The Game / What Caitlin… series, Minha Dona will be a single, novel length story written from Helena’s perspective.

Set nine months after Beyond The Game, things haven’t quite played out like Helena had thought. Back home in Sao Paolo she’s had near silence from Caitlin, save for the odd professional communication between them, and she’s in limbo… enjoying life still, without a doubt, but she’s realised that Caitlin was special and, uncharacteristically for her, she’s not sure what to do.

Of course that state of affairs doesn’t last for long, but I’m not going to spoil the surprise.

I'm currently editing the draft and I’m hoping to publish over the summer depending on what else gets in the way. Think of it as What Helena Wants, Needs and Craves all in one very entertaining volume.

I'm Not Even Into Women (working title, targeting latter part of the year)

Model Anastasija has two rules that she never breaks: she doesn't party with photographers, and she's never been interested in women.

You'll never believe what happens...

This story is told from Anastasija's first person perspective of the New York modelling scene, and is about sapphic self-discovery with the usual high heat. It is drafted and at the editing stage, so I'm likely to publish to fit around the other books mentioned here. It is also another book set in the Coming Into The Light world, naturally fitting with Luisa's narrative. I don't think I'm giving too much away when I say that they work together at one point...

Sapphic Spy Thriller (title and date TBD)

For anyone familiar with Agent of Surrender, this is a full length novel that builds on the core concept and makes it far richer and more interesting. Secret agent Anna is the dominant personality in her field... think of her as being the female version of a certain secret agent who has rather a lot of films made about them, you either want to be her or find yourself seduced by her and, if you are, you can guarantee it will be the best night of your life.

When her latest mission takes her on the trail of a missing batch of uranium, it leads her to Katarina and, well, let's just say that for once she may have met her match.
